Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TubeRadar Chrome extension, related websites, and services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by LuSoft ("we", "us", "our"). By installing the extension, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Your account
- You sign in with Google via OAuth. We never see or store your Google password.
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account in the extension. Deletion permanently removes your boards, captures, audits, comment mines, usage history, and profile. If you have an active subscription it will be canceled immediately.
- You may also request deletion by contacting [email protected].
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, scrape-assist, or systematically extract data from YouTube in violation of YouTube's Terms of Service
- Resell, redistribute, or build a competing product from data obtained via the Service
- Attempt to reverse engineer, bypass usage quotas, or abuse the Service's billing or rate limits
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
The Service reads page metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, comments) from YouTube pages you actively visit while the extension is open. It does not track your browsing history.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Max) are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe.
- Prices are displayed at checkout in your local currency where available.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as described in the Refunds section below.
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the in-extension Billing portal. Proration is handled by Stripe per its standard rules.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at for the remainder of the current billing period.
5. Refunds
- Annual subscriptions: you may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase or annual renewal, no questions asked. After that window, the annual fee is non-refundable.
- Monthly subscriptions: fees for the current month are non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time and continue to use the Service until the end of the paid period.
- Refund requests: contact [email protected] with your account email and Stripe receipt.
- Refunds required by applicable consumer law (e.g., EU consumer rights) override this section.
6. AI-generated content
TubeRadar uses a third-party language model (DeepSeek) to generate packaging audits, comment analyses, tag suggestions, and similar outputs. AI output may be inaccurate, biased, or nonsensical. You are responsible for reviewing all output before acting on it. We are not liable for decisions you make based on AI output.
7. Third-party services
The Service depends on, and sends limited data to:
- Google — sign-in authentication (OAuth)
- Supabase — database and compute hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
- DeepSeek — language model inference
We do not share your YouTube page data with any party beyond what is required to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Intellectual property
- We retain all rights to the Service, including the extension code, brand, and design.
- You retain all rights to content you create (boards, captures, notes, tags).
- By using the Service you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service to you.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate or fit for any particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LuSoft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling the extension.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the extension or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France / EU, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in France / EU, except where local consumer law gives you a right to use your local courts.
